In ChungKing Mansions, more than half of the people liviing are residence. Therefore, I would like to create a space on the underused rooftop to have a stronger sense of community. 

Solving the problem of lack of natural sunligting is one of the aim in my project. Now the roootop is under-used and it is the only place to get the perfect sunlight. Therefore, I will do a laundry programme on the rooftop of Block B and C inorder to create a communal space for residences. It is because residences now are also lacking of a space the to dry their clothes probably. I also create a lightwell with a staircase to allow people to get up to the rooftop for enchancing the natural lighting on the top 4 floors.
